Polypipe WMS explains sustainable drainage

Polypipe Water Management Solutions is providing a free seminar covering sustainable drainage (SUDS) and water management issues within the construction industry.

SUDS: Planning for Change CPD seminar follows Polypipe Water Management Solutions' (WMS) first SUDS seminar and will be held on Thursday 15th October 2009 at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.

The one-day event has been developed to inform consulting and civil engineers, local authorities, planners, designers and engineers on the design guidance and legislation governing SUDS best practice.

The seminar will deliver information on how the construction industry can utilise the most appropriate solutions, promote a better understanding of SUDS and focus on key industry drivers.

Each topic selected will detail up to date information and advice following government and EU legislation changes such as future water, the floods and water bill and the water framework directive.

All attendees of the seminar will receive a free copy of the CIRIA C680 'Structural design of modular geocellular drainage tanks' guidance document.
