Eternit Slates' Rivendale Is Right For
Sunrise

When Sunrise Assisted Living required a roof for their brand new development in Virginia Waters, Surrey, Rivendale from Eternit Slates was selected as the ideal solution.

The development on Christchurch Road involved the construction of a purpose built Assisted Living Care Home with 72 rooms adjacent to the railway station The brick faced, steel frame, structure sits on a sloping site and is a combination of two and four storeys

For the roof, architects Scurr and Partners, selected Rivendale slate in Blue/black, a choice that a spokesman from main contractors, Wates Construction says adds to the overall effect.

"The whole property is aimed at the top end of the market and the materials used, including the Eternit roof slates are specified for their high quality and aesthetic appearance," he says.

Attley Roofing installed the 600 x 300 Rivendale slates with duo pitch ridges.

Eternit's Rivendale slates have a finely detailed, textured surface and dressed edges that replicate natural slate.

This randomly textured appearance adds visual appeal, allowing the slates to blend in with the surrounding environmental architecture.

Being light in weight, the slates are easier to install than their natural counterparts yet visually, provide the same appearance at a fraction of the cost.

The range is compatible with a range of fittings and accessories, in this case mitred hip and duo pitch ridge to ensure a uniform effect.

Sunrise Assisted Living turns old notions of nursing and residential care on its head, providing high quality care in safe elegant residential style homes whose designs have won numerous awards for excellence. Request a free brochure from Marley Eternit ...
