Marley Eternit expands Natura cladding range
As part of its focus on fibre cement rainscreen cladding panels, Marley Eternit has grown its Natura range of through-coloured sheets five fold.
Building work on what was Phase 2 of five totalling 400,000ft2 at the 76=acre Hamilton International Technology Park near Glasgow, one of the UK's leading locations for inward investment, took just six months.
The Grey Natura was used to clad toilet blocks at the rear of the buildings which are extremely prominent as Phase 2 is approached while Anthracite was used for the upper levels of the facade beneath the eaves.
It was rivet fixed by Walmac using Eternit's Omega and Zed system of precision extruded lightweight aluminium profiles.

Marley Eternit extends Natura cladding range
Following an international colour workshop with UK, French and German architects, Marley Eternit has launched a new Natura range of fibre cement decorative cladding panels.
These are mounted vertically and are as easy to install as timber battens although they provide the added benefit of non-combustibility and complete rot resistance.
Natura had also been used by AWG and HF Developments on two office buildings at the 1.4million ft2 Strathclyde Business Park.
Buildings at Hamilton International Technology Park seek to achieve the highest BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environment Assessment Method) rating, leading to efficient energy consumption and running costs.
Designated an Enterprise Zone by Scottish Enterprise, the park provides modem flexible, Grade A office accommodation offering space, quality, connectivity and prestige within a landscaped environment.
Its carefully designed master plan provides for a high-quality business community developed in phases that takes into account the site infrastructure and topography together with prevailing market conditions.
Currently developing Phase 5, it has the potential for 5,000 people to be employed (1,650 so far in businesses ranging from electronics to banking) and general car parking provision of one space for every 250 ft2.
The joint venture partnership between AWG and HF Developments, that both have a great deal of experience in the marketplace, was formed 10 years ago and since then has completed many office developments, most notably Strathclyde Business Park where Eternit's Natura was first used, and a 46,000 ft2 call centre in Motherwell.
Neil Haining of Cooper Cromar Architects said: "The Eternit product provided the quality and material required for such a new prestigious development in Hamilton.
"As the toilet pods were designed as a standalone object from the main brick-clad office building, we had to use a distinctive material which had a simple detailing feature. Request a free brochure from Marley Eternit ...
