Marley Eternit products help improve TV
show

Building materials from Marley Eternit will star in a new TV series next year.

Fibre cement cladding and roofing products will play a prominent role in ITV1's homebuilding and renovating show "Don't move, improve" which will show people how to get the house of their dreams without moving More than 300 lengths of blue/grey Eternit Weatherboard and 1,600 Rivendale Heather slates were installed late this summer on David and Shirley Clark's 1930s beach house in the old fishing village of Pevensey Bay in East Sussex

Expert presenters Michael Holmes, a property designer, and Alison Cork, a property and interiors expert, suggest ways they think homeowners can improve their properties and utilise space to its full advantage.

They then return for a final reveal to see if the homeowners have followed their advice.

As well as helping the homeowners spot the potential in their properties, they recommend products to suit their style and budgets.

Michael suggested Eternit Weatherboard as it was lower-maintenance than natural timber as well as resistant to extreme weather conditions.

The same properties apply to the slates that are also pre-drilled for easy fixing.

The series runs every afternoon for 30 episodes and is expected to pull in around two million viewers.
