Marley Eternit boarders on the best
range

Unparalleled range of high-performance building boards has been launched by Marley Eternit.

An unparalleled range of high-performance building boards has been launched by Marley Eternit All of the boards in the portfolio feature Class O fire performance and are easy to work and decorate but their applications vary from a render base and tile backing board to external paintboard and load-bearing structural board

This is believed to make them one of the largest, most versatile flat sheet ranges on the market as Marley Eternit has drawn on its 90+ years of fibre cement expertise to come up with the ultimate offer for specifiers, installers and merchants.

While they all meet the most stringent requirements, advice on their individual applications, sheet sizes, colours and thicknesses, and how to handle and work each product to get the best results, is contained in a complementary builder's guide.

Tileboard is a fibre cement moisture-resistant tile backing board that can be fixed using standard tools to a variety of timber or metal fixing systems in bathrooms, kitchens, basements, swimming pools and changing areas.

Its smooth surface and tapered edges allow for decoration in the same way as standard plasterboard.

Paintboard is a general-purpose, external grade fibre cement sheet suitable for soffits and fascias, balcony panels, infill panels, that is durable, low maintenance and available in natural grey ready for painting.

BluClad is a flat, Class 0, moisture resistant board with outstanding dimensional stability which can be used as a substrate for a variety of thin coat polymeric renders, textured finishes and other surface coatings on fascias, infill panels and bargeboards.

Duripanel structural board is a smooth and highly durable cement bonded particle board ideal as an alternative to chipboard or plywood for use in load-bearing situations such as roof decking and as acoustic or high impact lining.

General advice on the handling and storage, including Health and Safety tips, of all the building boards is given in the guide along with contact details for Eternit's technical services department for professionals requiring more detailed information.
