Marley Eternit clay tile top for
self-builder

When self-builder Malcolm Cox set out to find the right tile for his multi-million pound home, he turned to Marley Eternit and its range of traditional clay plain tiles.

Malcolm and his wife Maxine spent several years researching and selecting materials for their oak-framed house in the Warwickshire countryside Malcolm even travelled as far as Brittany in search of quality building materials, yet when it came to specifying tiles for the 585m2 house he stayed closer to home, choosing Marley Eternit's Acme Single Camber Clay Plain Tile

Just under 45,000 clay roof tiles were used on the GBP3.25 million property.

Malcolm, who chose the colour Grey Sandfaced from the broad range of clay plain tiles, was attracted by the ease of installation, quality and affordability associated with Marley Eternit tiles.

This particular range combines the benefits of advanced manufacturing techniques with the charm associated with traditional clay plain tiles.

Diana Bullock, clay campaign manager at Marley Eternit, comments: "We were delighted that Mr Cox chose Marley Eternit's clay tiles for this exclusive project".

"We offer an extensive range of tiles with a wide choice of colours and finishes which ultimately helps specifiers like Mr Cox meet planning guidelines and find a tile which blends in with the surrounding area".

Malcolm was also impressed by Marley Eternit's outstanding environmental credentials.

Diana comments: "We are leading the way in environmentally sustainable products, with all our clay plain tiles achieving an 'A' rating with the BRE. Request a free brochure from Marley Eternit ...
