Marley Eternit releases Pure Roofing manual

Marley Eternit has released the latest version of the Pure Roofing design and specification guide.

As well as in-depth product details, the 190-page technical manual contains the latest information on legislation, design considerations and sustainability.

'The latest version of Pure Roofing covers products available, specifying, design guidance and making sure the reader is up-to-date with the current legislation,' said Sarah Hanlon, marketing manager at Marley Eternit.

Pure Roofing includes information on the whole range of Marley Eternit roofing products, as well as Profile Sheeting and Cedral Weatherboard, which complements the company's roofing ranges.

The manual focuses on the design, detailing and specification of tiles and slates for pitched roofs and also helps to guide specifiers through environmental guidelines, with advice on best practice, measuring success and assessing the sustainability of buildings.

It also has information about the Ecologic roof tile, which helps to clean the environment by removing NOx emissions from the air and consists of a high level of recycled material.

A separate 'design detailing' section includes information covering all standard constructions for the eaves, verge, ridge, valley and hip, together with vertical tiling and side abutments.

To assist specifiers with their design plans, the manual also includes a CD with more than 1,700 CAD details.
