Slot Socks - the best of both worlds
Slot Socks from Euro Air UK combine the benefits of conventional fabric ducting with the ability to direct a controlled amount of air to a specific area and a pre-determined velocity.

Slot socks are suitable for both heating and cooling applications.
In heating mode, the slots are directed downwards and the warm air passing through the slots at higher velocity entrains surrounding air passing through the weave.
This ensures thorough distribution of warm air with no thermal stratification.
The ability to direct warmed air to a specific location is also useful for faster warming of particular areas, such as glazed walling where condensation may occur.
In cooling mode, the slots are directed upwards to provide a stream of cooled air across the ceiling, exploiting the coanda effect, so that cooled air falls gently into the room across the entire space without creating draughts.
This approach enables high volumes of conditioned air to be introduced to a space with no discomfort.
Air volumes and velocities are controlled through the slot width, positioning of slots and permeabilities of the weave of the textile.
Slot Socks can be shaped to suit any space and are installed quickly and easily using a track system.
Maintenance is simply a matter of removing the sock and washing it in a standard commercial washing machine.
