The release of the new roof system is the culmination of in-depth research with over 100 installers and numerous homeowners as part of Eurocell's commitment to developing a whole range of new products specifically to help fabricators and installers grow their conservatory sales.
The company recently launched IQ750 to its depot teams to enable them to demonstrate the benefits to installers.
Eurocell depot staff were given an appreciation of how quick and easy the system is to fit by building the modular roof for themselves.
Bearing in mind that none of the depots had seen the product before, their quick grasp of the system showed the huge benefits this will bring for installers.
IQ750 is available in 750mm modular sizes, which means it can be fitted much more quickly and because all the components are cut to size and pre-drilled it eliminates the need for additional work on site.
The new roof offers a complete solution for installers, with components carefully numbered and organized into packs and simple step by step instructions provided.
Based on a 750mm module, Eurocell's new roofing system requires fewer glazing bars, which speeds up fitting times and also improves sight lines.
David Salt continues: "This is a major selling point for homeowners, who will benefit from extra light flooding into their new conservatory".
"The design of the system also means the glazing bars match up perfectly with 1500mm wide French doors." All IQ750 components are cut to length and pre-drilled which makes assembling the whole system extremely quick and easy.
The roofing system is designed for pitches between 2.5deg and 10deg, making it ideal where there is a height restriction, for example, on a bungalow, or beneath an upstairs window.
The IQ750 modular roof uses lightweight but very strong 32mm Polycarbonate that achieves a U-value of 1.4, providing a high level of energy efficiency.
Attractive Opal Polycarbonate helps to diffuse the light that filters into a conservatory, giving a soft warm feeling to the room.
Bronze Polycarbonate is also available as an option.
Another advantage of the system is its structural aluminium firring support that provides extra strength.
This enables French doors to be fitted to the side, as well as to the front, making it much more versatile than most other systems on the market.
David Salt adds: "Many installers already know the quality of our products and as the IQ750 is one of the most simple and straightforward systems on the market, they can now save time on installation too".
"The system has been well received by our customers as it is compatible with most frames in the market including timber and enables much shorter build times, a major benefit for installers." IQ750 is supplied with easy slide single and double fixing studs for simple adjustment of the rafter bars to 750mm centres.
Each modular roof is also supplied with free fixings and tools including a screw driver drill bit, 10mm socket attachment and a 3mm drill bit.
IQ750 also comes with a patented rafter end caps that simply clips into place without the need for rafter plates.
The wall plate packs supplied with IQ750 include fast fit square line gutter brackets.
The guttering itself is available from depots along with all the additional ancillary items needed to fit the conservatory.
Backed up with a range of brochures, giving the benefits, and comprehensive and simple to follow fitting instructions, the product is now available through all depots.
Eurocell is also offering a free 'Wall plate fixing height calculators' with each IQ750 roof.
By turning the dial to the roof pitch and conservatory projection, this gives an instant calculation of where the wall plate needs to be fixed above the conservatory frames - it really couldn't be easier.
