David Wilson Homes and the planning authorities eventually selected Eurocell Eurologik profile in grey colour, due to the attractive thinner profiles which offer much better site lines than many other systems.
The grey colour created a perfect balance between the brickwork and weather boarding which provided the ideal backdrop to the beautiful lake that was created at the front of the development." Neal Suckling from David Wilson Homes explains: "The planning authorities had very definite ideas about making sure the whole development fitted in with the local area.
The grey gives the development an upbeat contemporary look, as well as complementing its surroundings perfectly.
The thinner profiles on Eurologik create the impression of an upscale aluminium window system, which was exactly the look we needed for this development".
These new homes have proved a hit with potential buyers with many of the homes already sold".
"In addition to the stunning looks, buyers will appreciate the fact that Pilkington K glass has been used to help reduce fuel bills and increase the thermal performance of the properties".
"Roger Sidebottom, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Windows, explains: "The Eurologik system was perfect because of its very slim profile.
Sight lines are becoming much more important for many developers and planning authorities and the fact that we were able to offer the Eurologik in grey meant we were could create the look that would complement this attractive location." Eurocell first introduced the Eurologik range back in 2004 and since then its popularity has gone from strength to strength".
"Roger Sidebottom says: "Eurocell really seem to understand that what we need from a profile supplier is a company that helps us to secure new business.
Offering a range of colours available from stock meant we could fabricate the windows and doors quickly to suit the requirements of David Wilson Homes.
With the current trend towards coloured PVC-u, we see this as a growth area for our business.
Ford Windows has over 30 years' experience servicing the construction industry with all fabrication carried out in-house to the highest standards using Eurocell's Eurologik system.
