Eurocell window boards aid thermal performance

An Eurocell Profiles product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Nov 20, 2009

Eurocell PVC-U window boards have been incorporated into the modernisation of The James Parsons Building at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU).

The window boards were sourced locally from the Eurocell Birkenhead branch, and were installed in approximately 1,000 window reveals.

Window boards from Eurocell are pressure-laminated to provide a scratch, heat and moisture-resistant surface.

The original windows were replaced with aluminium frames to match the external decorative rainscreen facade, which was also made of aluminium.

Eurocell 300mm deep PVC-U window boards in white helped maintain the thermal performance of the replacement windows.

Eurocell window boards are available in a range of colours; White, Oak, Golden Oak, Mahogany and Rosewood.
