Eurobond tackles sticky issue of
recycling
Eurobond and Sika are working together to support Eurobond's strategy of closed loop recycling at its manufacturing facility in Wales.
Sika supplies the bonding adhesive for the manufacture of Eurobond's steel faced composite wall panels Over 360 tonnes of two component polyurethane adhesive will be supplied to the manufacturing process in 2007

Eurobond's sophisticated production line has been developed to produce almost 0% raw material waste, and partnering with suppliers such as Sika has been key to this impressive statistic.
Darren Stewart, Commercial Manager, at Eurobond said: "Sika supplies its product in bulk, recyclable containers that allow as much of the contents as possible to be extracted".
"After use the empty packaging is collected from site for re-use, meaning no waste is introduced into the process and the environmental impact is minimised as much as possible".
Eurobond works with each of its suppliers in this way.
Any steel or mineral wool offcuts are also collected by suppliers, for recycling back at plant.
Darren continues: "The focus is on manufacturers to look at every means possible to limit their environmental impact".
