Full range of Extech Instruments will be on display at mtec 2007, the top UK event for Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation.
Rated, CAT III-600V, the EX470 offers a 4000 count display, 0.3% basic DCV accuracy, capacitance and frequency functions, and Type K thermocouple measurements in addition to its IR capability.
Featuring a built-in laser pointer, the IR thermometer allows for accurate measurements ranging from -4oF to 520oF (-20 to 270oC).
Combining temperature with other advanced multimeter functions provides a highly convenient test tool for diagnosing and troubleshooting.
Emissivity is fixed at 0.95, covering nearly all applications for non-contact surface temperature measurements.
Providing high resolution measurements including 0.1mV resolution for AC/DC voltage and 0.1uA resolution for AC/DC current, RH470 measurements are displayed on a large, backlit LCD with one-inch digits that are easy to read even in dim light.
Features include MAX and RELATIVE functions, audible and visual input warnings, low current ranges for use with optional current clamp-on adaptors (measure up to 2000 Amps), UL listing and three year warranty.
The EX470 comes complete with CAT III test leads, multi-position tilt stand, Velcro strip for hanging, protective holster with test lead holder, bead wire temperature probe and 9V battery.
