Exor Management Service providing a core component of Weymouth and Portland Borough Council's drive for procurement efficiency.
"This strategy is further reinforced by our new status as a Trustmark scheme provider - a fact we have in common with the ECA.
Forming a relationship with the ECA, a recognised and well-respected Trade Association, brings recognition and respect for our joint organisations, as well as many benefits for those companies that attain our joint accreditation".
The new partnership will enable ECA members to apply for inclusion on the Exor database at special rates.
Additionally, once accredited, members will be offered spaces in their categories on the many databases currently being used by Exor clients.
Martin Wade, Head of Commercial Contracts and Legal at the ECA said: "This relationship has developed from our plan to identify changes in the market and find new ways to deliver commercial advantages for our members".
"This relationship extends the reach into the Public Sector for our members; they will become more visible to local government officers using Exor's procurement and supplier selection software for posting new contract opportunities and making contractor selection decisions".
