Solar Bus Stops And Shelters
Advanced LEDs have now launched their solar powered bus stops and shelters.
"Litearch will make a considerable difference in terms of build time and costs for housebuilders and they have certainly recognised the many advantages this system has to offer since we launched the new product recently," commented Richard Wood, Managing Director of IG Limited.
"Brickwork features are a mark of a traditionally built home these days, but traditionally they can be very expensive and time consuming to produce and have the added weight issues associated with them when lifted into place on site".
"The product is being very well received by Health and Safety Managers as it removes any lifting risks normally associated with this type of construction." He added: "Litearch provides one effective solution to all those problems because it can be manufactured quickly and cost effectively, while its light weight means that it can be installed just as easily by the bricklayers".
""In terms of its appearance, you cant see any difference to ordinary brickwork and our rigorous testing procedures means that it will weather in line with bricks too.
"As far as its load bearing is concerned, the structural performance has a safe working load of 7.1kN/m".
"A 2.7m height of brickwork, which is the normal height of brickwork above a domestic ground floor window or door, equates to 6.1kN/m, so its performance in that respect is far greater".
Litearch has been designed to fit three brick courses in terms of its height, while IG have 14 different width sizes available in stock ranging from 488mm to 2,400mm.
Special sizes and colour matching can be ordered as well.
The arch system is compatible with all makes of steel lintels and can be securely fixed using stainless steel restraining ties.
