Atkins expands to bigger Edinburgh
office
Buoyant business and an expanding workforce have resulted in design and engineering consultancy Atkins taking on larger office premises in Edinburgh.
Atkins has moved from Melville Street to new offices in Canning Exchange, Canning Street The company will share the new premises with Faithful and Gould, its specialist cost and project management division

"The new Edinburgh office will help us to do that." Atkins is a leading expert in design, engineering, project and cost consultancy and is at the forefront of many of Scotland's major capital projects in healthcare, education, roads, rail, oil and gas, telecoms and power.
At the end of November, it announced record half year results, with turnover up 11% and operating profits up 10%.
The order book for the second half stands at 87 per cent of forecast turnover, four percentage points above its corresponding position last year.
