Fakro FTP-V centre pivot roof windows have been used in an unusual office redevelopment in North Wales.

The building's traditional metal cladding roof had only a 15deg pitch, and no other manufacturer had a suitable flashing Contractor Rhidian Snowdon-Jones of Snowdon-Jones Construction sought Fakro's recommendation and installed their EZV flashing

Torrential rain shortly after installation proved its suitability.

Rhidian commented "Such low pitch constructions are a growing market for roof windows".

"The FSC certified redwood pine's close grain looks great, installation was straightforward and the handle at the bottom of the frame gives the window a 10% bigger glazing area.".
