In fact, many companies are unaware of the Regulations and the mandatory requirement to install at least three low energy fittings in all new homes.
To address this problem, Franklite manufactures a comprehensive range of decorative fittings made for low-energy lamps to comply with the Regulations.
The company also has its Technical Department on hand to answer questions concerning the requirements.
In 2002, Franklite achieved special endorsements on a range of fittings from the Energy Efficiency Recommended Scheme managed and authorised by the Energy Saving Trust.
The scheme, which is backed by the Government, requires products to pass a rigorous energy efficiency approval process.
Only then, are the fittings allowed to display the Energy Efficiency Recommended logo.
This year, Franklite has achieved the Energy Saving Trust's endorsement on an additional range of fittings from its latest portfolio.
To complement this, Franklite has also put together a comprehensive booklet featuring all its endorsed energy efficient lighting that complies with the Building Regulations.
The range of low energy lighting featured in the booklet includes both wall and ceiling fittings in a variety of finishes and designs.
All Franklite's fittings are subject to stringent quality control, and each fitting is individually tested to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
As well as manufacturing and supplying a wide range of fittings, Franklite also provides a consultancy and advice service for lighting specification.
