Fastener Fair Stuttgart visits from Eastern Europe
Ocated in the very centre of Europe's industrial heartlands, Fastener Fair Stuttgart is attracting visitors from all over Europe including from the booming markets of Eastern Europe and Russia
Fastener Fair Budapest organiser Jerry Ramsdale believes the opportunities have never been greater for businesses and entrepreneurs in eastern Europe.
"Global manufacturing and production companies have been heading to China and the Far East for many years now, but economic events in that part of the world and in the global economy are combining to make the Far East less tempting".
In particular, Ramsdale points to increases in the cost of raw materials, plus the fact that last year alone the cost of sea freight from the Far East to Europe more than doubled, a trend that is continuing.
"Just looking at China," he says, "it is clear that skills shortages and new labour laws are driving up labour costs, which have been forecast to increase by around 40% this year alone," he explains.
"What this all means are that there are now incredible opportunities for end-users, distributors and manufacturers in eastern Europe to take advantage of the new rush by global producers to do business in their part of the world".
Taking place at the purpose-built SYMA Event Centre in Budapest, this new Fastener Fair show brings together manufacturers, machine suppliers, wholesalers, distributors, importers, exporters and tool suppliers, in addition to trade associations and suppliers of services and related products.
"By focusing all these key people and companies in one place, at a niche show that is open for just two days, we've made sure that exhibitors and visitors alike have the perfect event at which they can fly in, do great business and fly out again," says Ramsdale.
"In other words, they can enjoy maximum profit from minimum investment!".
