The Federation of Master Builders (FMB), South West region has expelled three firms for misconduct and bringing the FMB into disrepute.

The Federation of Master Builders (FMB), South West region has expelled three firms for misconduct and bringing the FMB into disrepute South West Traditional Builders and M and F Builders and Contractors, both from Cornwall, and Avon Porch Builders based in Bristol, had their memberships terminated after the FMB investigated a number of complaints from clients

Jeremy Chapman, South West Regional Director of the FMB, said: "The FMB operates a rigorous consumer complaints procedure and the conduct of all three firms was well below the standards expected of FMB members".

The FMB has advised Trading Standards of its decision.
