The Forestry Commission is seeking views on proposed changes to its statutory powers.

The Forestry Commission is seeking views on proposed changes to its statutory powers The changes would provide the Commission with powers: to enter into joint ventures with the private sector, and others, to enable the development of recreation facilities to participate in projects with others for forestry purposes; to enable the commercial exploitation of the results of its research; and to amend the procedures relating to the enforcement of restocking notices

The proposals relate only to England and Wales.
