Forestry Commission Scotland will officially open its new Inverness District Office on Monday 29 January The new sustainable, green building is located at Smithton and is a pioneering exemplar of timber construction, boasting some of the most impressive environmental credentials in the country

Every component of the building's structure and fabric is Green-book A-rated and nearly all sourced from local forests.
