Fire Detection Products "BSI Kitemark Approval for Aurora InterActive" Fire Detection Products (FDP) is pleased to announce successful completion of the rigorous EN54-5:2001 and EN54-7:2001 Test and Certification programme for the new Aurora InterActive range of analogue addressable sensors conducted by BSI under its Kitemark approval scheme The sensors utilise the Argus Vega protocol which is claimed to incorporate numerous innovative features that will appeal to installers and specifiers including multiple sensitivity adjustment, soft addressing with double address detection, cable and communication quality monitoring, variable transmission speed to assure message receipt and many more

All Aurora InterActive devices incorporate short circuit isolators to provide the highest levels of circuit integrity and allow panels to incorporate auto-addressing if required.

Reliability of sensor design has already been well proven in the field with almost half a million Aurora conventional detectors already shipped and now Aurora InterActive delivers a cost competitive open protocol offering in combination with a choice of panels from supply partners.
