Martell Take Centre Stage At The Theatre Royal
Martell Lighting has been chosen, along with Western Electrical Plymouth, to supply, install and commission a new AC central battery emergency lighting system at Plymouths prestigious Theatre Royal.
Each fitting housed two 18 watt compact florescent lamps.
3Although boxes can be quite strikingly good looking in their own right, it was felt that a certain amount of detailing would add interest.
Slot details were incorporated on all side faces, creating a structural depth to the box giving it character and an Oarchitectural feel1ý The slotted element allowed a four piece fabricated construction of the sides, with the joining not obvious, showing a clean segmented appearance.
Various luminaire versions throughout the architecture meant that a family appearance linked this part of the lighting element together.
Installed, the luminaires have a distinct feel and provide a consistent aesthetic throughout the building.
