Glass
The World of Glass, located at St Helen's has recently installed Fitzgerald Pro-Controls in one of their conference suites, The Reflections Gallery.
The World of Glass at St Helen's secures a place in history for its glass fabrication ability, and still boasts having examples of listed Victorian glass furnaces and original underground tunnels, as once employed by Pilkington, also situated at St Helen's Pro-Controls is a Wire-free Digital Lighting Control System that is ideal for use in commercial retail and architectural style projects

Martell Lighting has been chosen, along with Western Electrical Plymouth, to supply, install and commission a new AC central battery emergency lighting system at Plymouths prestigious Theatre Royal.
With the use of the Digital Marshalling Box, Handheld Remote Controllers, RF Switches and Scene Recallers, Sensors (pre-wired and RF), the system offers a range of flexible and re-configurable features.
These include absence and presence detection, dynamic maintained light level, (for energy saving and light management), corridor linking, emergency testing and scene setting.
Pro-controls1 also offers a solution to some of the issues addressed by the Building Regulations L2, such as local switching, dimming and flexibility of the building layout.
Management at The World of Glass chose Pro-Control as they were impressed with the total flexibility of the rolling scene changes, all controlled via hand held remote controllers by the lecturer, and are pleased with the enhanced facilities now available in the Reflections Gallery.
The Contractor was Ardmac and the Electrical Wholesaler was St Helens Electrical Supplies Ltd.
