Flowfast Rapid Transit is a seamless acrylic resin system, which includes the quartz finish Flowfast Rapid Transit SR, the granite-based Flowfast Rapid Transit SRQ and the flexible floor tiles, Flowfast Rapid Transit Tactiles.

The Tactiles have two variants; the Blister Tactile and Corduroy Tactile.

They have been developed for use in underground rail networks where they are being used to designate the platform edge, or the top and base of stairwells.

Offering flexibility, slip resistance, and colour variations to assist the visually impaired, they comply with London Underground's Engineering Standard E3821 A6.

The SR and SRQ systems are seamless, textured floors suitable for use in all areas subject to high foot and vehicular traffic where health, hygiene and fire-safety are paramount, including underground rail networks, washroom areas, warehousing and storage facilities.

Their anti-slip finish maintains colour stability under exposure to UV light, and provide scratch, chemical and wear resistance.

Flowcrete will be introducing the range at Stand 430 at Infrarail, which takes place at the NEC between 12-15 April.
