Flex Connectors latest green building
technologies

A new exhibition and conference centre, constructed using the latest green building technologies, utilises lighting connection and control products from Flex Connectors' flex 7 range.

With energy efficiency vital to achieving a low carbon footprint for the EPIC Centre at Lincolnshire Showground, contractors GRS Electrical installed flex 7 networked occupancy sensors, connection units and pre-wired leads to ensure that all lighting was sensor-controlled The automatic switching off of lights in unused areas and the use of daylight-linked dimming to make the most of the available daylight will help the Centre make considerable savings on the energy consumed by lighting

The environmentally-conscious EPIC Centre is the UK's largest purpose-built venue of this type and aims to increase awareness of climate change and encourage individuals and businesses to recognise their ability to make a difference.

The Centre has been designed to incorporate multiple functions, including a visitor centre, educational hub, office, exhibition hall, meeting place, concert venue and trade show site and agricultural environment. Request a free brochure from Flex Connectors ...
