A new exhibition and conference centre, constructed using the latest green building technologies, utilises lighting connection and control products from Flex Connectors' flex 7 range.
With energy efficiency vital to achieving a low carbon footprint for the EPIC Centre at Lincolnshire Showground, contractors GRS Electrical installed flex 7 networked occupancy sensors, connection units and pre-wired leads to ensure that all lighting was sensor-controlled The automatic switching off of lights in unused areas and the use of daylight-linked dimming to make the most of the available daylight will help the Centre make considerable savings on the energy consumed by lighting
