And for the first time at Interbuild every model carries a new temperature specification of -20C to 100C.

The show will also introduce the new and highly cost effective InfraCAM to building engineers.

Priced at just £4,250, this new infrared camera sets a new entry-level benchmark for safe, non-contact thermal inspection.

The thermal sensitivity of Flir Systems building-specific ThermaCAM B-Series infrared cameras is already an impressive 80mK but with the introduction of two new 50mK resolution models to the range, inspectors can now see problems even more clearly.

Both will be shown for the first time at a UK exhibition at Interbuild.

These new uncooled models, the ThermaCAM B20HS and B20HSV, allow highly sensitive thermal mapping of structures and architectural features enabling detailed diagnosis of problems.

They provide immediate, high-resolution documentation of as-built or post-restoration quality, post-casualty cause and origin data, plumbing and building envelope water leakage, water-damaged material assessment, energy efficiency, roofing and even rodent or pest discovery.

The only feature to differentiate the two models is an integral visual camera with the ThermaCAM B20HSV.

In common with the 'HS and 'HSV models, the ThermaCAM B20 professional camera has a patented, automatic dew point identification alarm.

In the past, determining areas susceptible for condensation and potential mould-growth was a long and drawn out exercise.

Complicated calculations on a pc with specialist software were required.

Now the ThermaCAM B20 the risk can be assessed on site and in real time.

The ThermaCAM B4 is a natural extension to the FLIR Systems low-end B-Series platform.

It has been developed at the request of customers that are attracted by the easy-to-use ThermaCAM B2 but need a very sharp image on which the smallest of temperature differences can be detected.

This model comes with an uncooled 320 x 240 pixel detector offering superb thermal imaging performance; it detects temperature differences as small as 0.08C.

This resolution is standard to the professional ThermaCAM B20 but four times better than that of the ThermaCAM B2.

When it was introduced the torch-style ThermaCAM B2 broke new ground in making real-time thermal imaging affordable and accessible to every building engineer.

It continues the role today.

This model is designed to provide a quick and easy, non-invasive method of monitoring and diagnosing the condition of building structures.

The ThermaCAM B2 allows the user to image entire rooms, inspect areas that are difficult to access with moisture meters, discover damp behind tiled walls and wallpaper that does not readily water-stain, track leaks to their source and monitor the drying process.
