programme

To address the specific needs of this sector that FLIR Systems has now introduced into its seminar programme a dedicated foundation course for building science thermography.

Thermography is recognised as being a vital tool in building construction and maintenance And now with the introduction of the world's first 640 x 480 focal plane array camera for building science thermography - the ThermaCAM B640 - the scope of the technology has become quite exceptional

It is to address the specific needs of this sector that FLIR Systems has now introduced into its seminar programme a dedicated foundation course for building science thermography.

The first of these will be held from 15th - 17th November 2006 at the company's Infrared Training Centre in West Malling, Kent.

The course will provide a comprehensive grounding in all aspects of the subject taking in the principles of building construction and physics and examining the effects of air speed, moisture and noise.

Basic camera set-up and measuring techniques in line with the latest legislation will naturally be covered and there will also be a blower door available for delegates to gain practical experience in air tightness testing.

Designed primarily for thermographers new to the building sector or those already practicing in the building environment but needing a thorough scientific overview, the course costs £700 per delegate.

The principal speaker is Karl Grimnes who has more than 25 years experience as a building professional.

Would-be delegates are invited to book on-line at www.flirthermography.co.uk/support/infrared_training_center.asp. Request a free brochure from Flir Systems ...
