Flir offers value price for i5 camera

High demand for its cameras across diverse markets has allowed Flir Systems to pass on the cost benefit of volume manufacturing to customers with the i5 compact infrared camera.

The i5 now costs GBP1,595 - nearly a third less than its purchase price when it was introduced in 2008.

This camera is easy to use - point, shoot and detect.

It can be used for a broad range of predictive maintenance and building applications enabling problem areas to be clearly seen on a high quality thermal image.

Flir is known for its expertise in applying infrared technology to predictive maintenance, building inspection, RandD, safety and automation applications, but the scope of its business is far wider than this.

The automotive sector, for example, benefits from Flir thermal imaging for driver vision enhancement.
