Flir offers value price for i5 camera
High demand for its cameras across diverse markets has allowed Flir Systems to pass on the cost benefit of volume manufacturing to customers with the i5 compact infrared camera.
The i5 now costs GBP1,595 - nearly a third less than its purchase price when it was introduced in 2008.
The FLIR i5 compact infrared camera
This camera is easy to use - point, shoot and detect.
It can be used for a broad range of predictive maintenance and building applications enabling problem areas to be clearly seen on a high quality thermal image.
Flir is known for its expertise in applying infrared technology to predictive maintenance, building inspection, RandD, safety and automation applications, but the scope of its business is far wider than this.
The automotive sector, for example, benefits from Flir thermal imaging for driver vision enhancement.
BMW is just one premium manufacturer that is incorporating Flir infrared cameras in its cars.
Flir also serves the maritime, security, surveillance and other commercial markets where its technology is making the invisible, visible.
Flir is putting more thermal imaging cameras into the market than any other manufacturer, putting the company in a position to provide its customers with good value-for-money products.
