FM Conway drainage plant open for 24 hours

A FM Conway product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Apr 16, 2010

FM Conway, industry leaders in waste water and aggregates recycling, has opened its drainage treatment plant 24 hours-a-day, five days a week.

FM Conway's Cleansing Division offers a comprehensive range of specialised vehicles, equipment and trained staff to tackle drainage and sweeping requirements.

The division has cleaned in excess of one million gullies and culverts and its treatment plant, which separates out the water element in gully waste for use in its own aggregates washing facility.

FM Conway's gully machines and combination units range from 14 to 18 tonnes, with drain jetting capability of up to 45 gallons per minute at a pressure of 2500 psi.

Its 26 and 32-tonne Super Combo machines offer a wide range of capabilities, which mean they can tackle most drainage work from deep bore soakaways through to heavy sewer jetting and deep lifting up to 15m.

As well as carrying out road sweeping, culvert, sewer and soakaway cleaning and specialist services such as confined space working, root cutting, flooding and spills, FM Conway utilises the latest in digital and CCTV technology and GPS systems to carry out structural and HADDMS surveys and asset data collection.
