safety

The Certificate was awarded by the Scheme Manager at the London Borough of Merton, Mr John Murphy, following assessment of Fendor's routine management of health and safety issues.
CHAS is operated in conjunction with the National Britannia SAFEContractor scheme which checks members safety practices, thereby supporting the safety audit trail carried out at Fendor's premises in Gateshead.
The certificate runs until October of this year and is renewable annually.
Andy Vinton of Fendor states: "This is a very important third party health and Safety review scheme which enables clients to save having to assess suppliers themselves".
"CHAS is a requirement of Constructionline, Main Contractors, and Clients alike, as well as being highly regarded throughout the construction industry and we expect a lot of customers to be asking for such certification in the future".
Fendor is a specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of advanced steel window systems including high security and fire-rated products.
It has also recently added the Schucco aluminium system to its portfolio, making it the only UK window company able to supply major developments with both these types of fenestration.
