Cheshire-based Lentrol, has taken delivery of three brand new Cat machines, all making their UK debuts A Cat 257B multi-terrain loader, 321C LCR hydraulic excavator and a 314C LCR hydraulic excavator join an existing Caterpillar fleet of 20 and will be used for ground works, construction and landscaping contracts throughout the North West

The machines are currently working on a commercial distribution centre near Preston where Lentrol is responsible for the complete build from earthworks through to the construction of the centre.

Jason Hail, Lentrol, director commented: "The new machines are a great addition to the existing fleet, and I am really pleased with their performance on a variety of applications.

"Many of the structures and developments that we work on are within restricted spaces, which is why having the use of compact radius machines and the multi-terrain loaders is a major benefit.

Any features that can help reduce accidents and increase operator productivity is a huge bonus." added Hail The compact radius feature of the Cat 321C LCR and the Cat 314C LCR is a key benefit ensuring that the counterweight of the machines does not extend beyond the tracks, ensuring that the machine does not swing into any object behind.

Both machines are designed for improved performance and rugged durability, with a highly durable undercarriage design to ensure outstanding performance in the toughest applications.

The Cat 257B multi-terrain loader features suspended undercarriage ideal for working across a broad range of applications and terrain.

Weight is distributed evenly through 24 contact points, improving traction, stability and limiting compaction of the surface area.
