Gemini is a range of interlocking double-cambered twin-tiles which, when laid, replicate the look of traditional clay plain tiles.
Commenting on the latest additions to the range, John Lambert, General Manager of Forticrete Roofing Products, said: "The Gemini range of tiles allows developers to create an aesthetic look which is sympathetic to a more traditional surrounding area".
"The two new blends, Sunrise Blend and Mixed Russet go one step further by combining two colours in one tile to create a very natural appearance".
"Once laid on the roof the overall effect is indistinguishable from plain clay tiles".
Adam Pearson, Director at S.M Roofing, a leading national roofing contractor, commented: "This type of concrete tile offers roofers a great compromise".
"It gives a plain clay tile effect, but is less expensive, and because it lays down to a lower rafter pitch, can be used on a wider variety of roofs".
The award winning Gemini twin-tile range is proving increasingly successful for Forticrete.
John Lambert explains: "The nature of the economy means developers are under increasing pressure to lower costs while delivering high specification, high quality projects".
"The Gemini twin-tile is popular because it offers a lower cost alternative to clay tiles without compromising on aesthetics, but is of a much better quality than other hybrid tiles on the market".
The Gemini Sunrise Blend tile has already been commissioned for the Chadwick Homes development in Pulborough, West Sussex.
