Forticrete has added to its Shearstone walling stone range with three new colours that meet regional planning requirements.

Forticrete's Shearstone range captures the look and feel of a region's local, traditional natural stone The latest additions are: Ironstone, which mirrors the look of natural Northamptonshire Ironstone and is approved by planners in Banbury, BANES Weathered, which has been developed in partnership with Barratt Homes to meet planning requirements in Bath and North East Somerset, and Pentstone, created to match the local Grey Multi stone of Bristol and South Wales

Commenting on the additions to the Shearstone range, Peter England, Regional Sales Manager at Forticrete says: "Planning requirements in areas where there is a strong tradition of distinctive, local natural stone are, quite rightly, fairly stringent.

"Working closely with our customers, we have created colours which closely match the look of the natural stone in the surrounding area.

The fact we have met regional planning requirements with our three new colours is a clear testament to the quality and aesthetic appeal of our walling stone".

Each colour is available in three face finishes; Split, the most uniform and smooth of the three options, Pitched, where each block features a raised centre and a rough effect and Cottage, which has a rough, irregular shape to replicate traditional stone walling.
