Premium new textures to its ColorCore

A Formica product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Nov 25, 2008

In addition to the classic Velour texture, ColorCore is now available in MicroDot and Gloss finishes in a range of selected best selling colours.

Ever popular with designers as a versatile material, with solid colour throughout, ColorCore is ideal for creating inlay effects and sharp edging detail.

Playful and modern, MicroDot is a subtle grid of concave dots in a low sheen satin finish, offering a three-dimensional aspect for optical effect.

Interpreted in eye-catching solid colours, this texture transforms the traditional flat surface of plain colours.

Gloss surfaces are immensely popular in today's interiors and Gloss ColorCore allows for a very individual and stylish look.

Available in a 3050 x 1220 x 1.3mm sheet size, the ColorCore range offers a total of 27 finish and colour combinations.

MicroDot and Gloss textures are offered in six classic colours: Black, Folkestone, White, Spectrum Blue, Spectrum Red, and Spectrum Yellow.

ColorCore by Formica is perfect for use in all interior vertical and horizontal applications, and with the impact resistance it offers is especially popular for use on counter or table tops, doors and panels.

With the introduction of these new textures, designers have even more choice at their fingertips to create stunning volumetric design.

As an innovator and leader in the industry, Formica Limited is constantly working to provide exclusive, on-trend designs and textures that inspire and excite architects and designers across the UK and Ireland.
