"This landscaping feature will carry our Cornish and Royal Deeside setts".
"Both are manufactured from crushed granite and grit-stone, and have unique, sparkling, textured surface-finishes with an extensive list of practical features which has proven very popular with architects, builders and specifiers." The colours offered within the Royal Deeside Range present refreshing alternatives to the frequently used natural granite products.
The colours include Balmoral - a black granite with white flecks, Braemar - a red granite with black and white flecks and finally Victoria - a white and yellow brindle granite.
Available with a 60mm or 80mm depth, the range provides excellent slip-skid resistance and can be laid to produce bespoke designs from traditional coursing to more adventurous and unusual patterns such as circles and flanders fans.
The product does not need to be laid on mortar so ease of laying is a key advantage.
This is helped by the consistent joint widths, which in turn mean that the regular surface is particularly pedestrian-friendly - important in locations where an even surface is a planning priority.
There can also be significant cost benefits as it is less expensive to purchase and lay than natural granite.
In addition to Royal Deeside, Formpave is showcasing its complete range of specialty products including its flagship, patented Stormwater Source Control System and Aquaflow range of Permeable Paving, Chartres, Clifton, Cornish and Royal Forest ranges of paving products - please visit stand P11.
