Formpave appoints Brian Garratt as new
MD
Formpave, a leading manufacturer of concrete block pavers and permeable paving solutions, appoint Brian Garratt, formerly a sales director at Hanson, as new MD.
Following the recent acquisition by Hanson Building Products (HBP) of Formpave , a leading manufacturer of concrete block pavers and permeable paving solutions, Peter Hart founder and former managing director of Formpave has retired after 47 years in the building industry and Brian Garratt, formerly a sales director at Hanson, has taken over the running of the company Brian Garratt heads the company, bringing extensive industry knowledge and management expertise on board and is based at Formpave's head office in Coleford, Gloucestershire

Throughout his career he has worked in various management positions in the commercial and marketing field, including general marketing manager for Hanson Building Products.
Prior to his appointment Formpave's managing director, Brian was sales director with responsibility for the business to the builders merchants sector.
Also heavily involved with industry events and associations, Brian's previous duties included being chairman of the BDA (Brick Development Association) Executive and chairman of the Marketing and Communications Group of the ICT (Institute of Clay Technology).
His new position will no doubt involve him in other relevant industry associations.
Formpave hosts SUDS workshop at Civils.
Formpave is hosting a unique event at Civils 2006.
Dr Stephen Coupe, a world renowned expert in the field of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) and pollution control, is holding an open workshop on the Formpave stand on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th, where Civils visitors can come along for in depth technical discussion and advice relating to the application and downstream benefits of SUDS technology in urban landscaping projects.
On stand A21, Formpave is showcasing its flagship patented Stormwater Source Control System and Aquaflow range of Permeable Paving and the new 60mm Aquaflow range available in the standard Aquaflow colours and finishes, providing a permeable paving solution for domestic use.
Other products include the Chartres range, Clifton range, Formpave Granites range, Royal Forest range, kerbs and small element paving.
