Hanson Formpave saves money and water
Hanson Formpave, manufacturers of specialist concrete paving products, has announced at Civils 2007 that its flagship Aquaflow Water Harvesting System is now available for domestic applications.
Edging and Chartres starter circles are also available to compliment the range, in the same colours and with the olden, bush hammered finish.
Building in an environmentally friendly way has become increasingly important to the construction industry and Hanson Formpave has recently launched an environmental alternative granite that allows customers to be green without compromising on quality.
The EcoGranite range, as featured in the new brochure, has the appearance, performance and benefits of 100% granite products, but with the added advantage that it has not drained reserves of the world's natural resources.
Other benefits include significant cost benefits as it is less expensive to purchase than natural granite and does not need to be laid on mortar, so ease of laying is also a key benefit.
The range consists of cobbles, setts, long-setts and paving.
The bush-hammered surface finish exposes the sparkling granite and gives excellent slip-skid resistance.
The Formpave EcoGranites are available in two colour ranges; the Cornish Range and the Royal Deeside Range.
To create a stylish yet simple rectangular block driveway, the Royal Forest Range is perfect.
Available in eight distinctive colours, the Royal Forest range is versatile enough to suit every drive and patio.
For domestic use Hanson Formpave has designed Home-plus, which offers all the advantages of the Royal Forest range, but with a 50mm depth making it ideal for driveways.
It also requires less excavation prior to laying and is cheaper, lighter and easier to lay than the deeper blocks.
The Clifton Range consists of Cobbles and Setts and is available with an olden or bush-hammered surface finish, particularly suitable for use in conservation areas or on projects where architectural heritage is important.
The new merchants brochure also includes details of Formpave's wide range of kerbs and ancillaries.
The standard kerb and step system, bull nose kerb system and forest edging are now all available with a shot-blasted finish.
Further details of all products are available in the new builders merchant brochure including sizes, ranges, colour options, finishing options, combinations, illustrations of the products and images of them in use.
