Arrow Electromagnetic door closers address the needs of both fire safety and DDA Code of Practice

Now you can specify your door control hardware with complete confidence, addressing both fire safety and ease of access for the disabled as required by the Code of Practice for the recently implemented Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) The Arrow 600 Series of hold-open/swing-free Electromagnetic overhead door closers conform to BS EN 1154 and BS EN 1155 and are also Fire Tested to BS EN 1634-1

What is more, they have recently been awarded full CE certification for use in both hold-open and swing-free modes.

When incorporated into a building's fire alarm system, the power supply to the Arrow closer is interrupted as soon as a fire alarm is activated, so that the door closes automatically and safely from any angle.

And in swing-free mode the device minimises resistance to the opening of a door by a frail or disabled person.

Versatile Arrow Electromagnetic overhead door closers equally suit regular or parallel arm applications.

They fit into a standard range of Arrow all-over covers, in materials such as solid or polished stainless steel and in a wide spectrum of over 100 plated and painted finishes to complement the décor in buildings of distinction.

Those finishes include brass or chrome plating, polished nickel or satin nickel, and durable painted colours compatible with the various BS, RAL and manufacturers' architectural ironmongery colour ranges.

Arrow 600 Series Electromagnetic door closers are produced at the Arrow Architectural factory in Alcester, Warwickshire, under the manufacturing Standard ISO 9001.

All are fully guaranteed.

And, to support these and its other door control hardware products, Arrow Architectural, founded in 1988, offers all the experience and specialist technical advice that you would expect from it as a member of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers from the beginning.
