Ferroli has enhanced their Pegasus family of commercial gas boilers featuring 2-stage burners which offer improved efficiency for commercial heating applications.

Ferroli enhances Pegasus atmospheric boiler range with 2-stage burners offering improved efficiency for commercial heating applications from 51kW right up to 289 kW Ferroli's latest Pegasus family of commercial gas boilers are now even more efficient following the successful introduction of a 2-stage (high-low) burner design that saves energy

Instead of being simply on or off, the 2-stage design allows automatic switching from high to low heat output as heat demand is met, significantly reducing heat lost via the flue and saving fuel.

The 2-stage boiler design is now standard on the entire Pegasus range which covers a wider range of 12 boiler sizes from 51 to 289kW as part of a single family.

The range includes the F2 N series offering heat outputs of 51, 68, 85 or 102 kW, and the larger F3 N series with a choice of 8 boilers delivering higher outputs of 119, 136, 153, 170, 187, 221, 255 or 289 kW.

The Pegasus range are all high-efficiency atmospheric floor-standing boilers designed especially for commercial heating and hot water applications.

They feature an innovative cast-iron design with large finned heat exchange surfaces and stainless steel burner plus high insulation for the boiler body that results in additional high efficiency and fuel economy.

A natural draft flue exhaust with an integral draft diverter/wind shield device gives them a low profile and simplifies installation work.

Designed for operation with either natural gas or LPG, the Ferroli Pegasus features fully automatic electronic ignition and flame rectification as standard.

Pre-mix combustion technology will also be available shortly.

They are approved to all relevant CE and BS standards and are fully Part L compliant.

The Pegasus range is ideal for fully pumped indirect heating systems up to a maximum working pressure of 4bar and a flow temperature up to 90C.

Full technical details are available upon request.

The Pegasus is designed for easy maintenance with all access for servicing and flue cleaning from the front - side clearances can therefore be kept to a minimum making the entire boiler range ideal for modular type applications.

The Pegasus range comes complete with standard control panel comprising of control thermostat, limit (manual reset) thermostat, lockout indicator lamp, ON/OFF switch plus a combined thermometer and altitude gauge.

All Pegasus models can normally be delivered to site within 3-5 days, fully assembled and ready to install, they are also backed by a comprehensive 2-year guarantee covering parts and labour subject to terms and conditions.

The Pegasus family is just one of a wide range of heating products for commercial, industrial and domestic applications from Ferroli's UK operation in Burton-Upon-Trent which provides full technical and product support, training etc and holds large stocks of boilers and parts to support UK installers and customers.

Headquartered in Italy, Ferroli is one the world's leading boiler manufacturers with more than two million boilers installed throughout Europe.

Founded in 1957, the company has grown rapidly and today has sales of some 360 million euros (approx £250 million) and employs nearly 2000 people in operations and manufacturing plants around the world.

The company products span the range from small wall or floor standing domestic boilers to large commercial and industrial models up to 12MW, including the latest condensing boilers, as well as radiators, water heaters, heated towel rails etc.
