Ferroli's Econcept Boilers Clean Up At HEVAR
Ferroli are showing their latest Econcept ecological gas-fired condensing boilers featuring very high efficiency up to 109% and low emissions at HEVAR.
At the same time, the boilers use less fuel and produce substantially lower emissions than standard boilers, making them more environmentally friendly.
The new Ferroli Maxima boilers with SEDBUK A approved energy ratings achieve a high 90.9% efficiency, making them among the most efficient in their class.
Their large high-efficiency heat exchanger can also supply large volumes of hot water quickly - up to16.5 litre/min with a 30C temperature rise - enough to supply all a modern family's hot water needs quickly and economically.
The Maxima continues to operate in high-efficiency condensing mode even when producing hot water only, so residents gain efficiency benefits throughout the heating season.
According to B and N, upgrading the heating systems with high-efficiency SEDBUK A rated boilers will bring many tangible dividends to the housing community, including significant savings on fuel bills, faster response to demand for hot water, plus greater controllability and ease of use.
B and N have been evaluating and testing various condensing boilers over the past few years and feel that the latest generation models such as the F?rroli Maxima are ideal for large-scale use.
According to Ferroli, this latest order comes amid increasing sales of high-efficiency boilers ahead of impending legislation likely to make them mandatory by 2005.
Ferroli's MD Jim Moore said, "More and more energy conscious users are now switching to high efficiency boilers and environmentally aware housing associations such as B and N are leading the way.
We expect this trend to accelerate as both installers and users understand the benefits in terms of fuel cost savings of up to 35% and lower greenhouse gas emissions plus a faster response to the heating and hot water demands of modern homes.".
