SED gains further interest for the 2011 event
Finning Caterpillar, Wacker Neuson and Hanix Europe are amongst the latest blue chip companies to book for SED 2011.
SED, the National Event for Construction, is welcoming back a number of key exhibitors to the show, including Finning Caterpillar, Hanix and three companies who have not exhibited since 2008, Wacker Neuson, Hewden and Ifor Williams Trailers.
These companies join other major OEM's including Hyundai and Hydrema, tool manufacturers Stihl, trenchless excavation equipment manufactures U Mole, crane dealers, Ladybird Crane Sales and concrete equipment giants Armcon Cementech.
Wacker Neuson in addition to exhibiting will also be demonstrating its range of products including the latest excavators.
Andrew Howells, managing director, Wacker Neuson said: "In the light of the steadily improving situation, which will stimulate interest in Wacker Neuson products, we have decided to reserve space at SED 2011".
"This will allow us to display a raft of notable new products that are being launched into the worldwide market".
"All this is re-enforced by the great confidence that we have in the UK market and our long term commitment to customers".
Paul Hyslop, sales director of Hanix commented: "We are really looking forward to returning to SED - it's a tremendous opportunity for us to launch the latest excavators in our exciting D-Series range".
"We are already looking forward to SED 2012: it is a good place to do business".
Tim Porter SED's head of sales commented on the SED's development: "The recent confirmation that both Finning Caterpillar and Wacker Neuson will back at SED, alongside Hewden and Hanix, is excellent news for both the show and its visitors".
"Each year the companies have exhibited at SED, they have always gone that extra mile with their stands - which are always full to capacity with new machines - their demonstration areas are also guaranteed to pull in the crowds".
"Ifor Williams is also top of the list in terms of trailer manufacturers - we are delighted to welcome the company back".
Porter concluded, "Looking at the SED floor plan the show is really taking shape and is promising to be a hugely successful event - and we are selling more stands every day".
"We also have some new innovations in the pipeline, but we are keeping our powder dry on these at the moment - watch this space".
SED will be celebrating its 45th anniversary next year (17-19 May 2011).
