A The Glass Wall Company product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 24, 2010

The Glass Wall Company announces that Chromatics can supply even traditionally 'difficult' reds, purples and violets, as environmentally friendly, non-toxic colours

Other suppliers can supply these colours, but not without any harmful environmental effects.

Chromatics safety cladding can be supplied in environmentally friendly 'difficult' spectrum colours such as reds, violets and purples

The entire spectrum of the Chromatics safety glass cladding system is free from toxic elements, solvent-based compounds and heavy metals such as lead and cadmium.

The product uses a low energy process from materials sourced within 10 miles of the manufacturing site in Haydock near St Helens.

No special disposal methods are required from the production line and no hazard labelling is required under COSHH regulations.

Lightweight 6mm Chromatics cladding can be specified where normally proportionately heavier materials would be required due to wind loading, even when building at higher levels on-site.

This reduces demands on energy usage, structural support, building materials and transport.

Chromatics significantly reduces the carbon footprint of a construction project.
