GAP increased door panel capacity
GAP has invested more than GBP125,000 in streamlining its door panel factory.
The company has bought a purpose-built Cannon Shelley vacuum forming line as well as cooling and water pumps The vacuum former moulds door panel skins and will increase efficiency and capacity by 33%

GAP currently manufactures 10,000 panels a month.
The new machinery will also enable GAP to manufacture standard and European size door panels, and it can be used by its sister company - leading composite door manufacturer Rockdoor.
GAP's Production Manager John Harrop comments: "This is the first stage of GAP's programme to streamline manufacturing, with GBP300,000 to be invested later in the year to further increase efficiency and capacity".
