Garlock selected for ISD Green Product Award

Garlock Sealing Technologies has received the International Sealing Distribution Association's Eco-Award for Industrial Certification, at the association's Sealing Summit.

The award is part of the ISD's Go for the Green program that presents awards to exhibitors that have displayed a product, service or initiative designed to reduce waste, promote recycling, minimise carbon footprints or demonstrate good stewardship.

Garlock received the award for its 212-ULE ultra low emission valve stem packing, designed to simplify leak detection and repair and maintain emissions below 100 ppm in the hydrocarbon and chemical processing industries.

It is packaged in a 100 per cent recyclable dispenser for reduced environmental impact.
