manifold
Geberit, the inventor and leading manufacturer of HDPE drainage systems, has unveiled its latest development for the UK commercial drainage market, its four-way HDPE soil manifold.

Geberit is launching its new Silent-db20 drainage system at this year's MandE Show.
It combines flexibility, reliability and durability, which when coupled with its environmental properties put other pipe systems to shame.
In addition, the manifold also provides extra versatility for the installer, enabling the connection of many different low-level waste configurations, with either a single soil branch or back-to-back style soil branch installed above.
The manifold has also been cleverly designed to ensure it fits into tight 90deg corners, making life easier for the installer when space is at a premium.
Other benefits of the new soil manifold include an electrofusion weld, which provides quick and simple, tension resistant connection of pipes, and blanking plugs that are moulded in and have drill centres to open up each hole with ease.
Simon Spridgeon, Head of Product Management for Geberit, said: "For installers, the key to choosing materials is to opt for a system which makes life as simple as possible and results in a good quality, time efficient installation.
HDPE is a robust alternative to traditional UK manifold materials such as cast iron and PVC-u.
"The new soil manifold from Geberit is quick and easy to install and, with Geberit's reputation for reliability and quality, installers can simply fit and forget the soil and waste pipework, without worrying about any further issues.
Another benefit is that as the blanking plugs are part of the mould for the unused entries, it means there is no risk of air or water leakage." Geberit's new soil manifold now makes it possible for the entire soil and waste system to be completed in HDPE, an incredibly robust and hard wearing solution for all types of drainage including above and below ground and also chemical waste.
It is resistant to temperatures of up to 80degC, is impact, crush and abrasion resistant and is insoluble in all organic or inorganic compounds at 20deg.
With six possible connection methods available, installers can be sure that Geberit HDPE can provide the right solution for any installation requirement.
