Thanks to lottery funding, the Charles Dickens school in Portsmouth has been able to refurbish the sports hall and Buckland Youth Activity Centre using the expertise of Gerflor flooring The Taralay and Taraflex products were laid extensively around the Buckland Youth Activity Centre including the multi-use sports hall and student recreation area and fitness room

With over 200 students using the centre in the day and other groups visiting in the evening, Gerflor products helped create floors which will stand the test of time.

A bold geometric cut design using Taralay Uni to help reduce impact noise was used in the student recreation area in tonal blues, whilst Taraflex Sport M+ in a wood finish was used in the fitness room.

The sports hall was finished to stunning effect in a combination of blue for the playing area and wood effect for the run off space.
