GJD launches D-Tect external PIR detector
GJD products to be exhibited at IFSEC will further enhance its reputation in the production of external movement detectors, lighting controllers and ancillary security equipment.
The D-Tect MX100 - code named the Rock - is an advanced long range external PIR detector.
It has a 100m detection range and three programmable detection zones, incorporating creep and anti masking technology.
This detector is a new addition to GJD's range of D-Tect movement detectors, combining advanced signal processing and optical systems.
These new technologies raise detection sensitivity, anti-vandalism and anti-masking to a new level.
The D-Tect MX100 is suitable for the protection of large properties and long perimeters by minimising the potential for nuisance alarms, enabling response centres to deal with genuine threats.
All the GJD D-Tect range of BS8418 compliant, external motion detectors now incorporate this anti-masking technology.
A new digital communication range of GJD detectors utilises the latest STOPBUS technology (Security Technology Open Protocol Bus - aka OIP), enabling wired and wireless detectors to communicate and interconnect using standard 485 cabling.
This feature substantially reduces the need for site cabling, provides remote access and a programming function for both the detectors and other STOPBUS compatible equipment.
GJD has now developed a retro-fit Tilt Sensor that enables third party equipment to comply with the latest BS8418 standard.
It's a cost effective solution for CCTV cameras and other devices that do not have the required tamper circuits.
It is sensitive in all three axis and has a set position learn mode as well as adjustable degrees movement sensitivity selection.
The 3DMLI is a building access control system which accurately counts people in and out of building and detects any tail gating of personnel at entry points to prevent unauthorised people entering a property.
The new D-Lite is an energy efficient, low power security/courtesy light which uses LED technology in the form of a long life, 8 watt LED light housed within a robust zinc alloy casing, complementing the D-Tect detector range.
GJD will also launch its GSM autodialler at the IFSEC 2010 show.
