"Customers utilizing vehicles with 12 VDC electrical systems can now simply wire our GX 1000 and GX 1200 units without the need for an external converter." The elimination of the external 12 VDC converter benefits the customer in two ways.
The overall install is quicker and the cost of the converter itself is eliminated.
Glacier will continue to recommend the use of the internal UPS with each system as further protection for the computer.
